Article System Profits

i am doing a reflection about an article. how do i start the first sentence without saying “after reading this article.”

I can’t seem to find this on the OWL site. I’m citing form an Internet article on NPR by Andrei Codrescu, and in my sentence I’ve already mentioned his name. Do I still need to cite anything in parenthesis even though the article doesn’t have any pages? Thanks!
